The Kelso "Shaggy Dog" brushed Shetland wool jumper has become a firm favourite at Malloch's HQ and with our customers alike. A classic bit of timeless knitwear that can be firmly brought into the contemporary menswear landscape. Think pairing with tailoring or denim. The wool used in the Kelso Brushed Shetland is 3-ply Super Soft Shetland Wool from renowned Shetland wool spinners JC Rennie. This Dark Grey version nods toward Ivy League style where it would be worn with Oxford button down shirts and chinos.
Known as a "Shaggy Dog", due to the nature of brushed Shetland wool, which has been run through a vintage brushing machine that utilises thistles. We really like the added depth it creates to our Shetland jumpers, while also adding some extra warmth.
